The reason for lack of updates: the stuff I ordered and installed technically works, but not very well.

I’ve gotten a new camera set up, but the chroma key is misbehaving. I tried to go back to using the old camera, but it is a cranky boy.

I’ve also gotten the microphone set up and it works, but the sound is a bit hollow and has some echoes.

My lighting is okay, but my existing lights are no longer being sold and the currently offered “new model” lights are, well, funky and I don’t really like them.

So, yeah, I’m still working on things. My hesitation to post an update kinda manifested – the things that should’ve just worked decided to be difficult after my last update.

I wish I had the energy work on this more, but I work 10 hour days in my day-job, four-day weeks alternating with five-day weeks, and just don’t have the energy after work to do more than eat and sleep.

I’m planning another large order of things coming up in the next week, and hopefully that will iron out all the bugs and bothers.

And then maybe the next update I post will be when I can return to streaming.
